SIMPLE WAYS YOUR CHURCH CAN RESPOND
PARTNER WITH THE
100 HOMES CAMPAIGN
Together with churches across the North East, NorthPoint launched the 100 Homes Campaign. Setup to answer the call from local authorities to help find more foster families, to help make sure that looked-after children and young people receive the very best care.
Could your church join the journey to find more loving families for children and young people in the care system? To discover how your church can join this social transformation initiative, click the 'Join The Journey' link below and we'll be in touch with more info.
Together, let's find a loving family for every child that needs one.
HOLD A FOSTERING EVENING /
BOOK A SPEAKER
Could your church (building/venue) hold an event and invite individuals and families from within your church to explore fostering? Don't worry, our team will manage everything incl. all the printed and digital information and content to help you promote the event within your church.
NorthPoint are taking speaker bookings for services. One of our team can attend a midweek or weekend service or event to share more about our vital work.
WELCOME & SUPPORT FAMILIES
Churches can play a key role in supporting those who foster and adopt. Our research has shown that local churches can provide incredible care and community to both looked after children and their carers. Our desire is for children and carers to experience the care and community that local churches can offer.
We can help you think about what your welcome looks like and how you might engage with fostering families that do not attend church.
GIVE TOWARDS OUR WORK
With the right ingredients, we believe that every child and young person in care can flourish. We have to believe there is opportunity to re-write their stories.
Setup as a social enterprise, NorthPoint's income is spent directly on increasing our impact to those we serve. This approach allows us to fully support children and young people with everything they need to thrive.
We know fostering and adoption is on the hearts of many church leaders and churches, and that's why we are providing the opportunity to partner together to see lives transformed. Would your church consider standing with us?
